Own the roadmap for the module our customers cannot afford to be wrong.
About the role
You will decide what Softra Payroll ships next. That means spending time with real payroll teams, understanding the cycle, and translating the pain into work engineering can commit to.
What you will own
- Own the payroll roadmap alongside engineering and design
- Ship a defensible strategy for multi-entity, multi-region payroll
- Sit with customers through live cycles to understand where software has to catch up
- Partner with finance leaders to shape reporting that stands up to a CFO
What we look for
- Five or more years in product, at least two on payroll, HR, ledger or a similarly regulated domain
- Comfort writing specifications that engineers can build directly
- A track record of shipping into environments where mistakes are visible immediately
Nice to have
- Prior time in a payroll or finance operating role
